THE PROJECT

Our current focus project, Let Her Rock: A Love Letter, The EP in partnership with the NYC Women’s Fund, is a music EP featuring ten NYC-based female artists a part of the ASFL ambassador network. ASFL commissioned them to create songs that encourage & uplift girls and young women.

The EP was released in January to rave reviews, bloggers calling it a “a prototype that demonstrates you can blend multiple sounds and sonic approaches on one project and the overarching theme of women empowerment still reigns true.”

The EP has garnered press pickup in Associated Press and News12Brooklyn among others, and has already accrued 70K+ streams and almost 500 playlist adds on Spotify. You can stream the project below available on all streaming platforms.
